I love, love , LOVE Aquariums and my favorite fish in a aquarium is always the Yellow Tang. I just cant take my eyes off of them...they are so pretty and sweet looking.... so while everyone is looking at the sharks or the kids are yelling that they see NEMO...I am watching the Yellow Tangs.....   What is your favorite fish?????

This is my Favorite song. It reminds me of my wonderful sweet caring aunt who always loved this song. She used to play it over and over and as a little girl she would have me singing it along with her. She was taken way too early from my life but I just know one day I will see her again and she will sing this song with me again !!! I move and miss you Aunt Dee .... < <

V is for Vault

The Vault... usually when people hear the word VAULT they think of Bank Vaults..solid and secure and full of loads and load of money . When I hear the word Vault I think of a secret file in my computer that I use as a blackmail and torture device (evil laugh) and the word Vault sends shivers up the spines of my friends...They know this is where I store 'the pictures'. You know what 'the pictures' are.... they are those pictures that you would never want shown to anyone in the whole world and YES i got them and I am not afraid to use them.  If you want to dance with a guy wearing a chicken suit,m then be prepared to be placed in the vault. If you decide to get tipsy and think that sleigh riding in heels is a good idea, then expect to be in the vault and if you decide to kisss your old high school principal at local pub...then expect to be in the vault . I quietly download the pictures and then store them away for the perfect time in which to 'REMIND" you of their existence... so when someone one wants to set me up on a blind date with their cousin who just moved here from a remote town in iceland or when someone wants me to run their tag sale because they have a 'nail appointment' then I just say 2 simple words and the topic is never discussed again...."THE VAULT".... so just know..If i get you on film you might end up in my vault as well....
you have been warned!! hahaha

U is for Underoos

Recently I was on the phone with a friend and the subject of Underoos came up....actually I was teasing my friend saying they were probably wearing them ,but later as I thought back on the conversation I started to smile when I thought about the Underoos...I used to have the greatest ones...WONDER WOMAN Underroos... I also had Strawberry shortcake and Mickey Mouse ones but I loved my wonder woman ones. I thought they secretly made me a super hero...now granted I was 5 years old and had an extremely vivid imagination but for all intense and purposes I WAS Wonder Woman.... flying around the house...leaping from tall buildings(couches hah) and fighting evil ( my cousin who was 6 months older than me and had a habit on chomping down on the nearest persons arms or hand or even leg once. ) ...I was fearless and unstoppable and this made me think ...WHY CANT THEY MAKE THOSE IN ADULT SIZES.... I think if I had on my Wonder Woman Underoos I would standing a little taller, I would be feeling a little more confident and maybe even a little less fearful. If I was wearing those Underoos I would not be effected by the screaming kid at the table next to me , I would finally be applying for photojournalism courses and I would be booking my solo road trip up to Acadia national park... I realllllly need those underoos :)    .....

A couple posts back I discussed the importance of being the Evil Queen sometimes... and I totally stand by it ...but there are also days that you need to and should be like Snow White. Snow White was innocent and sweet and full of wonder. She was kind to animals and to others. She knew the importance of keeping a clean house and to always whistle while you work. But mostly she had faith...faith in the dwarfs, faith in the huntsman when he told her to run and finally faith in the fact that someday her prince would come, I think we could all benefit from the qualities of Snow White.....Just DONT eat any apples from strangers hahaha

What can I say about Ross except it is my heaven, my happy place, my obsession. I was first exposed to Ross when I moved to Colorado for school. We did not have Ross in NY but it was love at first site. Great cool clothes and cheap cheap prices. I have since hit Ross Stores every where I have gone that had one...California, Arizona, Texas, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania and Of course Florida.. I have hit every Ross in the Orlando area and beyond and that is a LOT of Ross'. Sometimes I hit 2 or 3 or 4 in a single day and each store I find something to buy. Yesterday for example my friend Melissa took me to 2 Ross's and in store number 1 I got 4 summer dresses, one bathing suit coverup and a shirt all for $90 ...NINETY DOLLARS!!!   and in the store number 2 i got 2 shirts , the perfect dress for a interview, and another sundress and this time the total was $45 . The Interview dress alone in a store like Macys or even Sears would have been $40 ...and I got all those other pieces.  I don't have a Ross near me and the closest one to my home is 86 miles away....sometimes I hate that I don't have one close and others I am happy... i would probably be broke if I had one around the block hahaha.....

In my mind I am the daughter of Ansel Adams and Annie Lebowitz, born in to photography royalty and shooting award winning photos that the whole world over raved about....but in reality I'm a just girl with a point and shoot digital camera and a dream. I want to be photographer , i want to shoot peoples weddings and children. I want to travel and shoot breathtaking sites and wild animals and stunning gardens but right now I am just a girl with a canon elf Camera in a hello kitty case haha. Maybe one day I will get to live out my dreams but until then I am happy to take pictures of my friends beautiful children and flowers in my own garden...

M is for Miles

I have been many miles this past week... I flew from New York to Orlando, from Orlando I drove to Lady Lake, from Lady lake I drove to Jupiter, from Jupiter I drove to Orlando, from Orlando I flew back to new. In total this was many, MANY miles. Wow but I realized one thing...no matter how many miles I travel or how many miles are in between me and my loved ones, it doesn't matter when I see their faces. Its like we were never separated, that there was no distance at all and we picked up right where we left off . Nothing matters at that moment...not the price of the ticket or the early morning departures or the just general stress of traveling. The first time my Dad makes me laugh or I hear my friend scream my name from her front door as I arrive, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.... The miles disappear and we are together....if only for a week.....

At any given time I have about 5 lists going. They are usually a to-do, a to-get, a list of blog ideas, a list for others to do and my bucket list. I love lists..... and this is why :

1. They keep me on track
2. it helps me remember because as soon as i think something i usually forget it
3. I can list things in order of importance..
4. I can add things to the bucket list to give me motivation to try new things and visit new places.
5. I can leave lists for others so they know what should be done.

H is for Hydrangea

Hydrangeas are one of my most favorite flowers. When I was little we had a whole yard full of Hydrangea Bushes or as I would call them ," the blue snowball bushes". I loved them..love to look at them and pick them and smell them and even lay in front of them and staring up at the lovely baby blue color... They were so pretty. Since then I have tried 3 times unsuccessfully to grow bushes at my new house. I believe it is a combination of the poor soil quality and the lack of afternoon sun but either way they have never taken...BUT when I stepped out of my house the other day, I saw some green leaves spouting off a long believed dead Hydrangea bush. I dont know what the change is but I am hoping that it takes and keeps growing. I would love to have my very own in my front yard for years to come :)

E is for Ears...Mickey Ears °O°

This is the last time time that I worn Mickey Ears. Even though since this picture was taken, I have probably been to Disney about 75 times, I have never worn them again. This is not because I don't like them. In fact, I love them. I love to see people wearing then. Old and Young proudly wear them and they are usually accompanied by a big smile. They seem make people happy, carefree , even young again. The ears come in all different sizes and colors now..and they even have ones with top hats and veils for newlyweds(so cute) . I have wanted to buy myself a pair every time i have been to the 'happiest place on earth' but I have never done it. The reason why???? I am too self conscious to wear them.I feel like I would stand out in a sea of mickey ears. I know this is just my own demons and this is something i am working on. So in a couple months I am going back to Disney and I am vowing to be the first on line at the Main Street Hat Shop and finally getting my own pair of ears and wear them proud down Main Street USA . No more insecurity..Only a big ol' smile :) ........ (reports to follow)

He is great (sexy even haha) ....I love everything about this video... The lyrics, tune, scenery...overall message. But mostly love that it makes me smile and move around :)  ........ excuse me while I go back to dancing around :)    I WAS BORRRRRRN FREE :)

I am my own best defender. A staunch advocate for why I am always right and never wrong. I am a master manipulator, a expert in excuses. I can talk myself out of most things that are uncomfortable or displeasing to me. I am so skilled at it that I convince myself and those around me of why it is actually the best road for me...when i know its not. This why I am in the situations I am in ... this why I am unhealthy. So I have decided to become my very own "Devils Advocate". Enough is Enough. I was tired of lying to myself, convincing myself, condoning my bad habits and behavior. I need to become my own devils advocate to tell me what i NEED to hear not what I WANT to hear. I can no longer go on living the way i have been living...i need to hear that unappealing other voice...telling me why i don't need that bread or cake or how i DO need to work out when I am convincing myself that I am too tired or busy or its raining out haha. (any excuse to get out of working out) When my soft side was telling me that 'i will do it tomorrow' or 'take it easy cause you work so hard' , my devils advocate side will tell me that there will never be a tomorrow, the time is NOW and that if I don't do it I will die...YES DIE!... my devils advocate will not be fooled by my excuses or whining, She knows that heart disease, diabetes, breast , bone and thyroid cancer runs in my family and that it is only a matter of time until I will have one of those diseases...she will stand firm in her convictions despite being unpopular, depsite my unwavering convictions to the contrary......but in the end i know she is right and that I need that voice inside my head or I will never get healthy...and I will Die.
