Day 21: Your favorite Christmas movie.
Wow this is hard...there are so many.... I guess its a tie... "Its a wonderful Life' and "Elf' ...but there are a couple runner ups.....' March of the Wooden Soldiers' and ' Christmas in Connecticut' ...

25 Days of Christmas-Day 20
Day 20: All time favorite Christmas present.
Probably one of my favorite gift ever was a diamond name plate my ex boyfriend bought me. It was pretty but the thought behind it meant so much more. One day in the middle of September we were in the mall and i stopped to look at them in a window of a jewelry store. I told him how i had one that i loved and it was stolen at my friends house during a party. I told him how much i missed it..but that was it ..never thought anymore about it ...Well apparently he went back the next day to buy it for me and kept it for Christmas. And when i opened it i actually cried...not because of the material thing but because of the thought behind it. :)

Day 19: Whose gift was the hardest to buy this year?
Hmmmmm ....that is a hard one because I have a couple people who are soooo hard to shop for.
And they are all men.. haha...but i would have to say my uncle is the hardest because he says he doesnt need anything everytime I ask him what he wants... Argggh hahaha ....so if he doesnt answer me soon he is getting lotto tickets and booze hahaha

Day 18: Favorite Starbucks holiday drink.
NONE!!!! hahaha...... well first of all I am allergic to coffee but besides that I dislike their teas, their hot chocolate is the worst and even their water is gross.... I prefer dunkin donuts :)

25 days of Christmas- Day 16
Day 16: Your favorite Christmas tradition.
My mom (and my grandmother before her) makes Pizzelles every year. Pizzelles are a traditional Italian waffle cookies made from flour, eggs, sugar, butter and flavoring (often vanilla, anise,and anise seeds). we have a pizzelle maker that looks like a thin waffle maker. It takes my mom hours to do it because she makes so many for friends and family. I love to spend time with her while she makes them. Talking and laughing and taking in the lovely smells of the anise and vanilla. I cant wait to do them this year.... (below is a picture is a pizzelle ...i will post pictures of the pizzelles we do this year next week )

islanders game
I am finally getting around to posting some of the shots from the Islanders Games. I was lucky enough to have a friend that game me some AWESOME tickets. I am Ny Rangers fan but I also love hockey so i wouldnt turn down tickets haha... Here are some of the shots :

Day 14: Share a previous Christmas memory
One of my favorite Christmas memories is of going to NYC with my father and seeing all the store windows and to the Rockafeller Tree and then he took me to Macys to see Santa. We waited on a very long line but it was all worth it when I was able to see the REAL Santa and I got to tell him what I wanted for Christmas. It was a wonderful day. :)

Insomnia
4am. Awake again. Not so unusual for me but tonight mind won't shut off of questions and answers and should I's and shouldn't I's. Thankfully my other friend is up now too and we are playing hangman via facebook hahaha. The hangman has distracted me from getting in trouble. instead I am laying here playing the game and listening to my ipod and hoping sleep will find me or at least shut off my brain. Sleep well my friends :)

"if you cant be with the one you love.....love the one you're with" ......that song is playing over and over in my ear hahaha...Tonight I am going to the NY Islanders ( shhhhhh dont tell Rangers that Im cheating on them haha)...I guess if I cant be at a Rangers or Blackhawks game, then tonight I am a Isles Fan.... GO ISLES!!!

I hate to say it ...but it was my mom haha....I opened up my Barbie wrist watch and there was a tag from Caldors. I looked at her and said 'why is there a tag"....she tried to say that Santa was extra busy and he asked her to pick up the watch but I didnt believe her ...so then i started asking around and finally found out the truth... it was a bad year...i had chicken pox AND found out about Santa all in one year... hahaha
