The challenge this week is to write an essay, a bit
of fiction, poem, song lyrics, or whatever using ONLY single syllable words. So
this is my take on it :)
Proof
I don’t need proof that you are
kind, you show it to me
I don’t need proof of sound, I hear your song
I don’t need proof of your light, it guides my way
I don’t need proof of fear; you put it in my past
I don’t need proof of dreams, they are found in your arms
I don’t need proof of hope; I find it in your words
I don’t need proof of peace; I know it in your touch
I don’t need proof of love; it lives in your heart and mine
I don’t need proof of my wish, It came true when I met you
