I saw the Bee Gees!!..........

........... Well not really..hahaa but they were the most excellent Bee Gees Cover band called " Stayin' alive" . Here is their link  http://www.facebook.com/StayinAliveCanada .  We went Sunday to see them. It was supposed to be an outdoor concert but due to possible thundershowers they moved it inside an adjacent theater. We were all kind of bummed because we had bought our chairs and coolers and were ready to have some cocktails and laughs and possible dancing but instead we were inside and couldnt do any of those. We quickly forgot our disappointment when the band took the stage and started singing. They were AMAZING!!! Every song got better and better and we were singing on top of our lungs . They sung all of the Bee Gee's hits, Andy Gibb's , and some other hits from the 70's . It was soooo much fun and by the end we were all standing and dancing in our seats.
If you ever get a chance to see them, make sure you catch them. You wont be disappointed :)

ps ....i know you want to dance now to Stayin' Alive :)   hahahaha

* a little rabbit visiting my front yard

* spotting a dolphin when I am on a boat or at the beach
* poke on fb hahahaa

We survived

....so we survived the storm last night. We had some bumps in the road such as lights going on and off (they eventually went off for about a hour but luckily came back on before it started to get too hot in the house), we had some downed tree branches and the worst of it was that we lost internet for about 3 hours...THE HORROR haha. But I had last 50 shades book to finish, which I did so that kept me entertained while I was unable to get online. I know our storm was a mild in comparison to the storms the mid-west has been getting but we were still very concerned. Especially when my very MEAN friends started to post pictures on my Facebook wall. Here is some of the pictures that my 'friends' sent me to scare me ... yeah they are REAL FUNNY <rolling my eyes> hahahahaha

Dutchess County Balloon Festival

Here are some of my photos from a Balloon Festival we recently went to. The launch was at 6am over the Hudson River. We had to get up at 430am but it was totally worth it. The balloons were a sight to behold. Next time I will arrive earlier so I can see them being inflated. I hope you enjoy.....
